San Luis Obispo 1st Place Boys Division 1 Final - California CIF CS XC Championships 2022

San Luis Obispo captured its first CIF Central Section Masters Division 1 boys cross country title and secured the first championship, regardless of section or division, in 20 years at Woodward Park in Fresno. Milo Skapinsky covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:13.30 and fellow senior Quinn White ran 15:26.35 to finish fourth, helping San Luis Obispo hold off defending champion Madera South by a 65-68 margin. Junior Weston Greenelsh placed 12th in 15:57.94, senior Luke Reiss finished 15th in 16:04.02, junior Nolan Roemmich earned 32nd in 16:25.84 and junior Cade Backlin took 38th in 16:47.50 for San Luis Obispo, the reigning Division 2 state champion, which will seek the Division 1 crown Nov. 26 at Woodward Park in Fresno.
