Milo Skapinsky, a senior at San Luis Obispo High, placed second in the boys championship race at the CHAMPS Sports West Regional at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. Skapinsky covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:29 to become the first male athlete to represent the Tigers at the CHAMPS Sports national final since Callum Bolger in 2016. Skapinsky is scheduled to race Dec. 10 at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego.
