San Luis Obispo junior Milo Skapinsky placed 12th in the Division 2 boys final at the California state meet at Woodward Park in Fresno. Skapinsky covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:45.9 to help San Luis Obispo secure the team title with a 105-112 victory over Livermore Granada. San Luis Obispo had five scorers in the top 50 with a spread of less than 30 seconds to rebound from a 33-34 setback Nov. 18 to Sanger at the Central Section championship meet.
